This weightless, gel-like moisturiser contains a high-performance 5% vitamin C complex for a radiant, lit-from-within glow, plus ferulic acid to boost the brightening power of vitamin C. It is supported by other key ingredients such as ferulic acid to boost the effectiveness of the vitamin C, along with allantoin and niacinamide to replenish the skin barrier. Why use a complex? Vitamin C's pure form, ascorbic acid, is known to be unstable and highly susceptible to oxidation (resulting in it turning brown) via heat, light, air and water, which impacts its effectiveness.
